One thing I find important in life is to not take things too seriously.  Another is to remember return and renewal -- there’s always another chance to get it right.

What could be better as a reminder of those life truisms than a sunny afternoon on a freshly groomed, spring green baseball diamond, for the opening day of our Santa Monica Little League season?
