Re-elect

Councilmember

Kevin McKeown

By pressing "Contribute" I agree that I have read the following, and
that my donation is in compliance with Santa Monica election law.

Santa Monica City Charter Article XXII:  Information for Contributors

Under City Charter Article XXII, Councilmembers may not accept contributions from anyone who has received a valuable benefit as a result of that Councilmember's affirmative vote.

Valuable benefits are defined as follows:

- A variance or special use permit operating as an exception to the zoning code and worth more than $25,000.

- A contract for services or goods worth more than $25,000 in any twelve-month period.

- A real estate contract worth more than $25,000 in any twelve-month period.

- A franchise with gross revenue over $50,000 in any twelve-month period.

- A tax abatement worth more than $5,000 in any twelve-month period.

- Cash in excess of $10,000 in any twelve-month period.

Beneficiaries are defined to include both persons who have received benefits and persons who are 10% owners, partners, directors, officers, or trustees of corporations or other entities which have received benefits.

I affirm that I have not received a benefit as described by Article XXII,
nor am I a 10% owner, partner, director, officer or trustee of a
corporation or other entity which received such a benefit.

Thank you for being part of our campaign.  Getting our message out to your neighbors won’t be possible without your help, because I don’t take any corporate donations.  Please be generous, remembering that in Santa Monica the individual contribution limit is $250 per person.  Each adult member of your family may give $250.  State law requires my treasurer to keep track of supporters’ occupations and employers, so please look for the space to provide that information.

Thanks!
